Clarification on 17nov trek

Dear odacers,

I apologised for the late notice concerning the postponing of today's activity as i only received the call from the teacher at about 11:30am and it was the fastest i could disseminate this news to everyone. Due to the heavy rain that was occuring at many parts of Singapore, especially at Macritchie Reservoir which is also the Central Catchment Area, we have no choice but to postpone the activity as some parts of the routes will be flooded and muddy, making it impassable. Moreover, it wouldn't be a wise choice to wait for the thunderstorm to subside as the rain stopped only at about 2pm.

I understand that most or practically everyone of us were on our way including some who were already there and a few bus stops away, hence having to make a detour back home or getting caught in the heavy downpour. I seek your understanding in this abrupt and last minute decision and always be prepared for such scenerios in future. Hopefully, we are able to carry out wednesday's trek smoothly. The postponed date for today's activity will be decided on wednesday after the trek.

Thank you

Yours sincerely,
Jingjie

ODAC windbreaker!

hey people!

since i had heard of lots of people wanting to make a ODAC WINDBREAKER for the up coming year end trip and using it during lectures and cold windy morning and maybe it can be used to substitute for the ugly poncho

jason and i have went down to a printing shop at beach road to check out the price and all
thats the cheapest store we went to
cause i went with the others to check in shop in queensway, army market etc
and that printing shop offers the most resonable price and quality

so i will be bringing the 2 sizes( S and M) on friday for you all the try on

those that are bigger in buid will need to wait till the end of the month(meaning before vietnum trip) before you all can get the windbreaker with hood as they do not have the size L and XL

so i was thinking priority goes to those with OCIP?

i need to confirm the size by friday and the design you all want by friday too before sending it in so that OCIP people going on the 14th will get it on the 13th.

1 windbreaker with printings will cost $30

i have check with the canoeist already their is like $28 so i guess it is quite alright for use as ours have hoods

this are the designs

FRONT

BACKFRONT(with hoods)

BACK(with hoods)

we also need you all to choose between the logo that will be put on the left chest area

2 design to choose from

DESIGN 1

DESIGN 2

This is the font that will be use and be printed on the back of the windbreaker
